Satellite Communications Antenna Subsystems
Space qualified, a number of research and communications satellites in orbit today use Rantec antennas in X band, Ku and Ka band frequency ranges for satellite to satellite data transmission and satellite to ground stations. Rantec is a trusted manufacturer of such customers and JPL and NASA. More recently Rantec has expanded its space experience to include manufacture of rigid and flex waveguide with our in house capabilities in precision manufacturing; tight tolerances and dip braze tanks.

Satellite links are crucial to the instant data required by today's war fighter. Rantec’s Ku reflector SATCOM antenna system is a flight proven system small and light enough to be considered for UAV's and for critical ISR roles aboard a variety of aircraft.
Electronic Warfare Antennas
Included in Rantec's wide array of microwave antenna experience include high power blade and spiral antennas, a testament to the diversity of Rantec's design and manufacturing capabilities in microwave antennas. Rantec has designed a line of spiral antennas specifically for radar warning and surveillance. These circularly polarized antennas can be produced singularly or in phased/gain matched sets. BIT couplers are available as an option. Dual polarizer's are available as well.
